Communication Engineering! Need advice!

Hello guys,

I want to study Communication Engineering and I was accepted at both York and Warwick. Which uni do you think is better to study Electrical Engineering? Also, are they considered top or middle class unis? Warwicks course is really good but the rankings are low... Can someone help with my decision? Also, do you know any better unis for this particular course?

Thanks for the reply! What I didn't specify was that this is a MSc programme. All the courses are specifically for this field. You still prefer York? At the rankings York is much better but Warwick is a better uni overall and the programme is much better...

No. Warwick is ranked well for engineering. And employers don't care anyway.

Which ranking are you looking at that includes both York and Warwick?

I was looking at QS and the Shangai one. The other ones do not include Warwick in their top 100

Afaik neither are ranked in QS 2016 or Shanghai for EE

Can you link it please.

And I'll say it again, the course content is much more important.

Edit: just double checked QS, the filter wasn't working in mobile. Warwick is ranked, York it seems isn't.
