I think I'm an idiot. The 15 marker on how feminism has been critisced, I inferred it's been critisced for its fight for gender equality and used difference feminism. Everyone else used conservative or liberals etc.

Talk about how they all believed women were oppressed and how they seek female emancipation, difference between difference and egalitarian feminists, how liberals support the public/private divide and socialists/radicals don't, the emphasis on sexual revolution for radical feminists vs the emphasis on class revolution for social feminists

Yeah that was brutal. I basically adapted divisions within feminism, talked about how liberals want private life left alone, and also a bit about arguments over gender - that women are supposed to have traditional roles.

Still though that was weird. Nothing at all like that in the Heywood book I've got, or any past papers.

I did based on core values and whether they mean it's a single doctrine so
1. Sex and gender and talked about different beliefs about androgyny and essentialism.
2. Gender equality - all believe in legal and political rights but radical take it further to mean social roles and treatment.
3. Public/private divide - social and radical both want to eradicate it but believe patriarchy originates in different places. Liberal think eradicating it would be dangerous and lead to encroaching totalitarianism.
In the conclusion I said it isn't a single doctrine.

Thought the 15 markers were so bad.
For the feminism one I wrote:
Criticised by some as not going far enough, patriarchy still persists and it died down after first wave feminism.
Liberal feminism is criticsed for simply being for white middle class women and ignored others.
Also criticised for being anti-male and too radical in some ideas, e.g. Susan Brownmiller and her arguements on rape.
Also discussed equality vs essentialism.
Are these points okay? Freaking out :frown:

Also for the nationalism 15 marker - I concluded that racialism and patriotism can be blended as patriotism can lead to racialist beliefs but as a whole aren't similiar, as patriotism does not have racialist implications.
I hope my points were alright.. :/
