Did anyone get 52 N for the boy doing pull-ups question?

I got 52 also

Yes, I took away 840 from the bigger number because you needed the resultant force in the equation. Paper was fairly hard.

I did that too :biggrin:DDD

The one that compared the two graphs and said something about 40cm

Wasnt that the ultra sound? where the distance was 40cm and you had to convert it to 0.04m?

You're meant to plus the voltage in a series circuit so you were meant to tick the third box, 9+3= 12V

I did this and hopefully it's correct
Can someone put the written answers in please

What was the oil error question?
Thank You
Its actually 12m/s^2 isn't it as it said it increased TO 1850N from the 840N that was already keeping him stationary?
I loved the 6 marker omfg
did anyone get earth wire for that cable thing
Any guesses for the grade boundaries??

1a) what was the main error with the oil experiment (1mark)

I put human error because the peraon may make a mistake reading the stopwatch or marks on the glass tube. Not sure how correct that is though.

Also for tge rest of it, i put the drag force is greater than because it needed to be greater as the speed was greater, so to reach terminal velocity and get to a resultant force of 0, thedrag force needed to be higher as the weight force was higher

should be something like 40 for an A* as it was 41 for A* in 2013 and it was easier imo

It was live

Woah that paper was intense despite my thorough revision. The calculations were really weird! In the oil ball bearer question, was "less than" the right answer?

yah due to faster speed
