Anxiety - Does it go over time??

For the past few years i have had (i wouldnt say really bad) but anxiety. It gets ALOT worse over this time of year like summer and i over think everything and always think the worst thing possible.

I am male, and tbh i do just brush it off but i want to know if it goes away over time?

I hate this feeling it literally feels like im trapped but the world is still moving but im just stood still every day.

Speak to your GP and get some medication

I found that putting myself in situations that I knew would make anxious helped reduce some of my anxiety  I'm much more outgoing and willing to talk to strangers than I was  So it 'can' reduce over time but there's also things such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that can help with it - along with some medication.

As the above poster said, it's probably best to see your GP with something like this

The issue is the anxiety is not really something which is persistent i think it is more to the fact i have too much free time and hardly any friends, i barely leave the house. I notice its worse in the summer (when i dont have anything to do school etc), also i think by putting myself in the situation where i dont go outside it leaves me vulnerable because im not busy with any activity.

Im not sure but i feel its something which is seasonal if that is even a thing.

It certainly could be a thing  I'm no medical professional but there are some kinds of mental illness that are 'season based'; just because it doesn't affect you as much in term time when you have school, doesn't mean what you're feeling isn't as real as someone who feels anxiety all of time

I used to have quite literally crippling anxiety, I don't want to go into too much detail about to but it was bad, this was about a year and a half ago. I can tell you now It won't go away - I don't know if medication well help, I was to anxious to tell anyone, but my anxiety is still "here", but it's not as bad anymore.
I still won't go out the house unless I absolutely have to and that goes with socialising and or just interacting with others but as you get older you'll mature, find other ways to deal with the anxiety, you'll learn to cope with it.

For example (this might sound really ****ing strange) I listen to music so I can't hear anything around me, when I go outside, however, while i'm outside I don't use my mouth to breathe, and often (every 5 mins or so) I'll get really conscious about how much noise [if any] I'm making when I breathe through my noise, so I literally stop breathing until I gasp for air. I can't help it, but at least I can go outside without having a panic attack like I used to.

I know exactly the feeling. I myself have suffered from anxiety for a pretty long time, and have found that the best way to deal with it is to put yourself into the best possible position to feel happy. I found that therapy was effective, but only worked in the short term as I would frequently relapse into a new kind of worry. It was only when I took up self-improvement that I found my symptoms got better. I begun going to the gym, working hard(er) at school, and just trying to remove sources of negativity from my life. It takes a while to be effective, but it seems to have been the only thing that worked for me.
