Sorry.. That is not true.

We see these tragedies and instead of ignoring them we try to do sometime to stop the same thing happening over and over again. Why do we do this? We have compassion. We feel sorry for the families of the victims of gun crime, we feel sorry for the refugees who are unnecessarily dying. We do not want this to happen again, therefore we try to seek a solution.

About the referendum, I don't want it to be cancelled, and I don't think there is even a slight possibility of that happening. It might be postponed, but that would be very unlikely. Just for the record, I do not want it to be postponed.

But without republican approval, no bill will ever pass through congress. Too many of them take money from big, immoral companies. Obama tried to pass a law that was aimed at stopping suspected terrorists from buying a gun. It was vetoed by the GOP. Putrid s**m that they are

They are against guns, but are too stupid to realise that even if all guns were banned (their ultimate aim), guns would be smuggled in from Mexico, and they are against a wall for some reason, such a wall would reduce such guns.

So what they really want is a situation where legal guns are replaced with a load of illegal more powerful weapons, strange.

Do you think they would take that much of a chance? Imagine the reaction if they blocked a bill targeting suspected terrorists compared to targeting everyone they would lose a lot of votes.

The truth is the democratic gun control ideas will never be successful as some people see on themselves whereas pretty much everyone supports stopping terrorism even though they have different ideas on how to do so.
