Perpendicular means that the two lines intersect at a 90 degree angle. - I attempted to make what I did as clear as possible, but it's probably best to watch some videos on it.

Got a bit of it!!

So the point they give me I put my compass of that and draw a semi circle. And follow underneath the semicircle and that gives 2 semi circles... and then down the point and between both circles draw a straight line..

So ill do an example..

That looks quite wrong, your construction lines should resemble mine.

You need to make your compass the size of the sides. Draw the base first, then the sides.

The base is 6.3 - i misread it as 6.7 sorry.

Yeah, nice. Just remember if they give you two sides and an angle or two angles and a side, you don't need to use a compass to construct the triangle!
