This is really random..

But why is a virus a vector?

I understand a plasmid is a vector because - they are small rings of DNA, easy to modify - and - they are small and can move in and out of bacterial cells easily.

But, why a virus?..

My guess would be because viruses seek out cells to penetrate into to reproduce, as this is the only way they can - therefore they can easily pass the new genes into cells I guess? Also they're really small? I'm not sure
Does anyone have the mark scheme for the 2015 paper?

You're welcome
And I don't have any predictions, however there's a YouTube channel that I think is called Frances Dowle or something, which has videos where they basically make a huge mind map for each sub-topic within a unit - they can be quite helpful
This playlist of Youtube videos is good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5kTMbpZn6w&index=1&list=PLebF0BCGcZZ1T6l8dEiQlfeTuokxDscHW

Thank you! Good Luck tomorrow

-some plants have natural herbicide resistance
-you can cut out the gene responsible for this and transfer it to a useful plant
-this gene will then be reproduced in all of the plants cells
-the new plant will then be herbicide resistant

In incredibly basic terms

I know, there was a lot of questions on ideas about science.
I found it lemon de squeezy.
