LaTeX

Hey guys - it's been a while since I've been on this forum.

I'm wondering - has LaTeX been working normally for everyone lately? I've seen a fair number of complaints saying that it's not been working and I wonder how prevalent the problem is.

Let me know so that I can get it looked into if necessary. :h:

Don't suppose you have any examples at all? :redface:

Thanks!

(x2+y2)\displaystyle \left(x^2+y^2\right)

a2+b2a^2+b^2

01f(x) dx=g(x)\int_0^1 f(x) \ dx = g(x)

Chilledtobits said that developers are working on it:

It's better than it has been today. Over the last few weeks it's been pretty much unusable and is seriously disrupting this forum.

Ah ha - cheers! I was unaware until today but I'm glad others are aware.

Sorry for that - I know how annoying it must be, especially for it to happen during exam season. Hopefully they fix it soon but I'll see where they're up to.

Thanks :smile:

If we could scream at the develops to fix it, we would - but in (cyber)space no one can hear you scream!

Seriously, it's a real pain - I gave up trying to respond to a thread yesterday, as without latex it was unreadable.

A fix for this is on our priority list. Was supposed to be released yesterday but we've had some issues getting TeXlive to behave properly and not break the rest of the server. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved before the end of tomorrow.

i=11i2=π26\displaystyle\sum_{i=1}^{\infty} \frac{1}{i^2} = \frac{\pi^2}{6}

Seems fine.
