Religious views for relationship

I have met who a guy who I am attracted to and we get on well. We both have different religious views, he is an atheist and I am spiritual. Has anyone dated anyone with a different religious belief? If so, did the relationship work or not? I don't want to get involved and fall for him only for it to not work further along the line. What worries me is not being able to discuss my belief with him.

By spiritual, what do you mean?
Yes it can work as long as you both are tolerant to each other's views, but you should bring up your faith with him instead of being disappointed a few years later when you get serious and you can't work things out. If it's important to you, he will care.

Spiritual as in believe in law of attraction, self improvement, open to after life etc.
