Students Having A Crush On Their Teacher??

As someone who had a crush on a teacher see thread below:

They'll eventually get over it. Any other casual banter talk is ok and saying hello but make sure to keep it strictly Student-Teacher don't get too friendly with them. Don't worry we know right from wrong deep inside, we will joke on about it but never actually admit anything serious.

What? Of course he can do something. He needs to flirt with them back, show how manly he is or the girls will think he is a wuss. Then they will make fun of him even more. Seriously they are just looking for attention

Just be careful that you're not seen to be encouraging it. To be honest if they're happy to giggle and be obvious around you they may well carry on if you tell them off, although you could try a friendly 'can we keep it appropriate please' with an eye roll. If it's making you extremely uncomfortable you could ask for advice from a more experienced member of staff, this would serve a dual purpose of making it clear you're not a willing recipient!

Be firm with them, especially if you are new. Make it clear on what you will and will not tolerate. Or else they will just walk all over you. You can do fun stuff later. But for now, show your authority as a teacher.
