Depends which part of the south you're from. The Oxford/ Cambridge accent is alright, anything from around the somerset area is okay aswell, for that matter most southern accents are tolerable although the cockney/ Essex one grinds on me the most for some reason. The posher London accent is okay aswell

I wouldn't say I have a proper Essex accent, certainly no joey Essex😂 I'd say I have a 'standard southern accent'

Everyone down here hates northern accents particularly scouse lol but it's not a big issue at all to me, I'm more concerned about how people will take my accent
