How many marks was 5i) worth?
I can't remember whether I did tan(4/3) or tan (3/4) by accident, would I lose 1 mark if I did the second one but the rest was right?

Hmm I think i did something stupid in the exam saying that -4x^2+20 = -4(x^2+5) which is wrong. Would I get the final mark for writing the -4x^2+20/(x^2+5)^2 ? Because I definitely wrote that.


on the top of mine i simplfied it further and had 4(x^2-5) cant remember if the 4 was positive or minus and the plus or negative was inside the bracket but you couldn't cancel it further, only simplify the top bit.

for 2b would you get a mark for saying +-rt5<x taking into account all of the working out before

how much marks was Question 3B. I stupidly added 26.57 to my two values instead of taking it away. do you think ill get method marks?also, for the answer 0.5cosec4y, I got 2Cosec4y, would I get method marks for this too?

Guys I got the inequality wrong for square root 5 and did not simplify 1/2ln(25/4) how many marks do you think I'd lose???
How many marks was question 2?
For question 2, I got x > +/- root(5).

How do you get the final answers from this?

No need to worry too much, you are just missing the accuracy mark(s), maybe 1 or 2. And the marks for each question is quite low, even you messed up 1 to 3, I would say it is still possible to get 90 UMS or higher

if your answer is a correct solution should only be 1 mark for missing range
