Anyone want to ask anything about the uni if they're unsure or are about to start uni at UWE but don't know anything about the uni/bristol in general...
Doesn't have to be related to my course or even LGBT related. =l
What do you learn in med chem?

It's really a case of what different types of drugs there are, how they're used, history, how certain medicines function, how to prevent overdose, how they're made etc...

I've attached the module booklet and learning timetable on this as well to show you roughly what it is. =)
Why was your sexuality a relevant thing to mention in the Title? Is the focus of the questions supposed to be on your sexuality or on the course you're studying?

Both, neither or more tbh. The thing is really just to draw attention to the thread and anyone who's just about to start the uni can ask someone with a few years of experience at the uni/in Bristol and get to grips with a few things before starting a completely new and somewhat unnerving experience.

Looks really cool! I'm a chemist and find it interesting to see what comes under med chem elsewhere-sadly our version of med Chem consists of long synthesis of various drugs haha  With not a clue to what they do and how they work
