You have to separate the x and y values on opposite sides and then integrate both sides (the x values dx and y values dy)
Did anyone get something like 1-root1/3 for x on 9ii)
I dont think that was any easier than June 2014 - I think 57 or 58 for an A*
Think i got (1/144)e^-2 for the final answer, was the equations not lny=..+1-3, with c=-3?

how many marks would be lost in question 9ii for putting non exact answers instead of exact
can someone guess the reasonably highest grade boundaries for a star?

Other than the parametric equation question :frown:(((( the paper seemed ok

You must've made a sign error somewhere it's was c=3 and -1+3

63, absolute worse case 64 ( but doubt that high, realistically 60-61) but june 2014 was 57 for A* and that was much easier
I've checked & amended where necessary the community mark scheme.

****, will be 2 marks, A1 for getting C wrong and A1 for getting final answer wrong
What was the question on number 3, can't remember there being an x^2 term in the original equation

I've not seen this paper but June 2014 has at least 7 marks which were scored by very few candidates -- checking that the lines were distinct in 5(ii), the last two marks for the graph in 7(iii) and the last four marks in 10(i). From looking at the reactions to this paper it seems that there were no particularly challenging questions, so I would expect higher than that for 90 UMS.
What's was Q3 tho? The actual question
Can anyone please post what question 2 and 3 was please?
Did 9ii ask for exact values?
