Boundaries will definitely be quite high but not 72 for an A* IMO. I would go for 70A*, 65A, etc...

yeh I agree - c4 is a hard module for a lot of people - the integration especially was quite involved using identities and substitution ect where people would've lost marks tbh
Guy may I know why can't I do this for 4a?
the highest grade boundary for the JUNE exam period for C4 was in June 2012 when you needed 63 for an A, so judging by this I can't see it jumping that much higher than 65

Going by this then the boundaries would look something like this..

67- 80
68- 83
69- 85
70 - 88
71- 90
72- 93
73- 95
74- 98
75- 100

Those are pretty excessive. I think they will be the same as last years most likely which were also high.

75 - 100
68 - 90
62 - 80
56 - 70
50 - 60
44 - 50
If i got 71 in C3 and 71 in C4, would this get me the A*?

I really hope they are like this but everyone's saying this paper was really easy so I'm panicking

Thank you, i was being paranoid i think but can never be too sure about marks and people on TSR saying sky high boundaries etc. Thoughts on boundaries for c3?

tbh, some of the questions were quite tricky, the one where you had to get rid of the square root (q6 i think?) comes to mind.

I think people are mixed whether or not the c3 paper was harder than last years. Last years did have a killer trig question, but did also have some easy questions wheras this year even the simple topics had fairly tricky questions (q5). It was also significantly longer and more of the questions required writing our lots of lines of working than last years paper. It did have a copy paste question but it was only worth 7 marks or so.

My guess is A - 58, A* - 65, 100 UMS - 73. If not 58 then 59 for the A.
what was question 5?

Two reasons:
(1) when you take -5/2 to the other side it becomes +2/5, not -2/5.
(2) when you take x to the other side it becomes 1/x, not x.
So you needed to integrate 2/(5x) on the left hand side, not -2x/5.

Does anyone know how many marks each question/part of the question was worth?
