I voted leave for the bants

Lol I had no idea what to vote for so I just thought "let's be a complete lad and leave cause it's good banter innit. I bet Europe will be like "oh please, please don't go" and we can stick our two fingers up at them and be like "**** you!" to them" so I voted for leave. Then I had some cheeky referendum banter with my friends.

Honestly I had no idea what to vote for but still I felt like it was important to use my democratic right so I thought let's see what happens

No. I didn't really know who to vote for anyway and I leaned more towards the leave campaign. Plus I think we need some fresh leadership and I think Boris Johnson could be the best guy for the job now.
Me too, no regrets.

capital banter my spiffy chap
Omg I thought I wa the only one who just did it for yolo. Mark twain said that you'll regret not doing something more than doing it so I thought "might as well see what happens". Hoesntly
May the bants be with you.

Lol but don't worry. We'll be fine without the EU. We are a great country and can do great this on our own. Even David Cameron admitted that during the remain campaign. Honestly, you made the right decision for the wrong reasons.
Me too lol
But I don't regret it though. We can do it on our own- 100+ other countries are doing fine in their own

That was the remain campaign's mistake: project fear. Tell people they can't do something they'll want to prove it wrong. For me there was never a doubt in my mind that the UK could survive outside the EU (who the hell would think they couldn't??) It was always about the rights and privileges we gained being a part of it, consumer rights, human rights, the progressive moves in terms of geo blocking, wanting to limit roaming charges. Our government is really backward internet wise trying to ban certain areas of porn (please think of the children! lol) and care more about big business than us.

The Erasmus made it possible to enrich my life by giving me a grant to study abroad, coming from a low income family I could never have studied abroad without the grant. It's been a great thing to talk about in interviews and so on increasing my social mobility (I already make more than my mother has ever made). It's sad to think that kids from my background won't be able to afford study abroad in Europe like their richer peers. Working in a start-up our co-working space has a huge amount Europeans starting technology businesses in the UK, employing staff, spending money in our shops etc.. Which we will benefit from, without the free movement they wouldn't be here. I guess these are things that the average person from Clacton-on-sea or wherever does not see which is sad.
