No this website seems to be full of self entitled know it alls. You do martial arts and that takes up too much time does it? You aren't seeing the bigger picture. I work at a job and study also it isn't really an excuse. If you picked up even a few hours you could get working tax credits. Maybe you should drop the martial arts temporarily so that you can free up some working hours to fund your venture, instead of expecting everyone to understand that the system should prioritize giving you money because you're badly done to but still deserve the right to any hobbies you want as that's seemingly more important.

Well firstly I go to university which means I have to WORK. I am studying other things other studying my degree which takes more time. I am doing martial arts which takes time so please tell me how I am suppose to work full time to afford moving out. I am not lazy at all or I wouldn't be doing university would I? Matthew, I have grandchildren the same age as you and your girlfriend and I will say to you what I would say to them. You appear to have a strong sense of entitlement and along with your unwillingness to accept advice or criticism, that is a very unhealthy combination. There are many young people your age and your girlfriend's age who do not have ideal home lives and just get to it and have to find a way of reaching their goals if that is what they really want.
Grow up. Get a job. Get a life. And stop expecting everyone to dance to your tune. You are in for a rough ride in life if you continue with your current attitude. As for your girlfriend, it seems to me that you can't fend for yourself never mind another vulnerable human being.
