Still, it's nowhere near the 17.4 million who are opposing the second referendum.

If it overtakes 17.4 million then sure let's have a second.

The original ballot did not allow many people to vote who should have had a vote, for example, hundreds of thousands of British citizens living abroad.

Not to mention that many people were seriously and systematically lied to be the Leave camp.
wow - its nearly reached 2 million and we have until November to get passed 17 million

DONT BE STUPID. do you know how petty it is to be like 'oh let us back in please'?? its not happening. get over it and go educate urselves. youre lucky we left and youll see! other countries want to leave now because the EU is a shambles and treats the countries within it with no worth! half of you are copying what everyone else is saying rather than doing the research yourself.

a) we haven't left yet.
b) the EU is the countries within it, so that doesn't make sense.

Some nice grammar in there btw :cute:

Oh, and the Leave camp are fine ones to talk about 'copying what everyone else says'...

Mostly student cities voted that petition. Scots seem more intelligent do not look like sore losers.

Can someone let me know when this reaches 17 million signatures? Because at that point I'll become somewhat interested.

"Remain" in what lol?

Don't you mean "Join the EU" vote?
until the exit conditions are adopted, the UK is still part of the EU

so, it would be in fact a "remain" option
NOTE - When doing the online petition the link often goes to junk mail. Make sure you check your junk to find the link
Also, its important to email your local MP telling him or her that you have signed the petition, the reason why and your name and address - this all helps..
Thoroughly undemocratic to demand a revote until you get one in your own favour.
Another EU referendum is very unlikely remember the last time we held one was back in 1975. It cannot be reversed unless the conservatives go against it and that would be political suicide for the party. If you think about it another referendum would most likely end up with the same result and less of a turnout.

That was 67:33 - rather more clear cut.
As was the 2011 one on AV 68:32

"In a 52-48 referendum, this would be unfinished business by a long way". Nigel Farage, last month.

Gee, citing to the (vague) authority of Nigel Farage to overturn a referendum result.

I suppose it shouldn't be surprising, since self-proclaimed left-wing anti-corporatists have been citing JP Morgan and the interests of the City as reasons to Remain for months now.

Only 15 million to go before it becomes at all relevant.

Results are results if referendums were to be obligated to use that criteria then we'd never be able to come to any conclusions. The Scottish independence referendum end result wasn't exactly clear cut either.

That's nice sweetie.

A large proportion of the votes are not even from the UK. This petition has been torn to shreds on Reddit. The remain campaign are repeatedly embarrassing themselves to no surprise at all.
