Sad about Brexit? Move to Israel!

We have:
- 4th most efficient healthcare in the world (Bloomburg)
- Low crime rate
- Socialised healthcare that isn't changing (So no complaining about privatisation)
- Speak English
- National service (so much fun!)
- Sunny beaches with lovely warm Med (much better than glum English beaches)
- Superb range of tourist destinations - including Europe and Asia in easy access
- A high GDP and relatively low cost of living
- Protection from international conspiracies/illuminati (Because Israel is behind them all anyway )
- Elections are based on proportional representation (So no more 'buuut Tories only won 33% of vote!'
- Great access to new technologies because they're made here

Sure, the UN, Human Rights groups, and several Islamic countries really don't like us - but who cares? Uncle Sam sure doesn't!

All you have to do is convert to Judaism - so what are you waiting for?
Come to the Holy Land today!

In RE we learnt that it takes 3 years to convert and is very difficult

I would love to come but I can't speak Hebrew (yet)
How do you convert to Judaism though? I know a lad who now identifies as a Bnei Noah, as he wants to be Jewish but was not born a Jew. But I don't think he is considered to be fully converted yet.

I have had too many bad experiences with religion, don't want it anymore :frown:. I still respect religious people who are of good character like everyone else though.

I guess there is a place out there for us all, just have to find it.
Why should we leave our own country just because some people who don't know what they are doing made a stupid choice

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to give it a pass. I like living on unholy lands.

How's it in Tel'aviv? I'd make Aliyah, but I love the UK too much.

I may visit sometime soon however. ^^

(Belated) Shabbat Shalom from the (Newly independent) United Kingdom!

All the more reason to come. You're going to have to live with their decision!

I don't have exact figures to give you, but let's not forget how many people have died from terror attacks in Europe in the past 2 years. I'd say you're safer in Israel than Europe
a) most attacks are against police and military and
b) you're rarely more than 100m from an armed Israeli in most cities due to IDF, police and CCW civilians. This makes it almost impossible for a Paris-style attack on civilians.

Food is extra yummy! Israel has been formed by Jews from all over the world, of whom have brought their local cuisine with them. Combined with Israel's presence on the world stage, we have a massive selection of excellent dishes. I've read somewhere Tel Aviv has the highest concentration of sushi restaurants outside of Japan.

To make a simple comparison, it has the climate and building style of Athens, structure of Tokyo - but with a lot more Jews!

Sounds nice. I don't know many other Jews around here. :frown: And the lack of a J-soc on TSR doesn't help

I imagine most other Jews are plotting their world domination elsewhere lol!

In all seriousness, I am only aware of 2 other actively posting Jews on TSR so not really enough to start a soc

Maybe I'll start an Israel-Society and call it the I-Soc? I'm sure that would go down well!
