Date friends ex

I want to date my best friends ex, she is friends with him and annoys me by saying I fancy him. Which I do but didn't plan. I think he likes me to but I don't think it would be right to date your best friends ex? I am best friends with him and we get on really well. He also has a twin brother, who I don't like and I think that's why I don't want to date him as I don't want to be near his brother. Can someone give me advice please?!

4. The only thing you say stopping you is the fact you dont like his twin?

Unless she's hoping for a reconciliation, where's the problem..
Go for it!
Just try to be mindful of your best friends feelings I would say too though, also why did they break up? Is it something that could affect your relationship with him too?

They dated twice, always had arguments as she did tell people some lies about them
