What are your intrests?
Do you know what feild you might want to go into in the future?

Try and choose topics that you have an intrest in and can see yourself studying!

Choose ones that really do intrest you though. That's my tip, otherwise you'd hate the whole experince as a result.
Look at the courses your college/sixth form offers, and look through them and see which ones you might like. Don't be afraid to look at subjects you never did at GCSE before either.

yh i might look at subjects that i havent taken at gcse
My opinion.

If you are interested in Engineering, go for Maths, Physics and two "soft" subjects that you can get A's in.

If you are interested in Social Science-y courses, go for Maths, Economics and two "soft" subjects.

My point is to try to gauge your grades. Do the two core subjects that you would need to get on the course and do easier subjects for other grades.

For example, some Universities tend to ask for an A in Maths and any other science subject. They don't care what the other subjects are, if you have selected two science courses. Maybe Oxbridge, UCL, Imperial and those unis may be strict with their requirements. Others may be quite lenient with their requirements.

Good luck
I'd suggest a 50:50 arts/science split. That way there's room to specialise in Y13 if you choose to drop a subject, which you most likely will.

Maths is always a good one to have at least as an AS.

Fam what are you good at? I can't read your mind, especially as it may be full of drake lyrics (jk I like Drakes songs.)
If your even slightly interested in dong medicine then take chem, otherwise it will severely limit where you can apply to. Other than that bio would be a good fit, but don't feel you have to take anymore "hard" ones unless you enjoy/would do well in them. Maybe economics/maths or something lighter like geography or politics

Pick what you enjoy and what you are good at. I'm in the same boat as you, ultimately our GCSE results will determine what we do, I've already said to mayself, if I get an A* in additional science, I'll take physics...

I would say, don't take on too much of a heavy work load, balance it out between easier and harder A-levels.

I know loads of people who went to study medicine and you need chemistry. If you didn't enjoy the taster day, you probably won't enjoy the A-level and from what I have heard, chemistry is one if not the hardest A-level so if you are going to do it, do it because you really want to... Same thing with medicine, the competition is so high, you want really afford to be "slightly intrested" in it...

So basically, DON'T pick a subject if you don't enjoy it and lack the motivation to keep up with the immense work loads
