C1 May 2012, Q9 C help

The answer for C is (7/2,1) However I got (35/10,1)

After looking at the genie math solutions I understand how he got that answer, however since I did it a slightly different way I was wondering where I went wrong, especially since I still got Y=1.
Just wondering if I'm missing a really basic numerical mistake or I've done it completely wrong lol.

Here's my answer(s)

Spoiler

And here's the exam paper.

Your answer is correct. There must be a mistake in the one you looked at.
