People who supported Brexit - do you feel conned?

No, because even Norway and the Swiss have it so much better, and we have started the revolution across Europe. We just have to keep plugging away with our arguments and our belief, and refuse to pander to the smears. And slowly but surely, the possibilities for trade WILL open up with the east.

Well 2 of your personal opinions were objectively wrong.

You're one to talk about reading comprehension. You couldn't even properly read your own campaigns advertisements. "£350mil to the NHS" was heavily pushed by the leave campaign. You look a bit daft now

Leave won, you lot lost. Deal with it.

Swiss look set to be kicked out of any deals they had with the EU.

Norway pretty much have what we have... but they don't get a say in the process.*

In which way are any of these things better?*
Project fear has turned to project smear. Remainiacs told the bigger lies, EU just confirmed that Turkey is in fact in ascentation to joining the EU and they want to push EU borders back to Syria (MADNESS).

The mainstream media is doing their best to try to create this wave of regret but it's not working, polls show that actually people who voted remain are more unhappy with their vote than people who voted leave.

Indeed on 30th June the EU opens the 16th (out of 35 chapters) of negotiation.

Turkey's latest application for membership was made in 1987. The first, and only, chapter of negotiations was closed in 2006.

If it takes 19 years to close one chapter and it is now 29 years since application with no sign of the second chapter being closed, I think we need to book the fireworks and the band to play the Ode to Joy in Taksim Square for the year 2652.

Well I doubt they could miss the old days.

Doesn't mean that some laws will emerge later on that we cannot deal with.

What does that mean? The UK will still be subject to those laws.*

If we were in the EU, and the political climate on the continent and in the EU changed as such that they favoured a set of ideas or idea that went against the UK's interest, they would be able to enforce those laws over us.

They can enforce it anyway, if we want access to the Single Market

Not necessarily, as you yourself pointed out. And besides, if they did something bad, we could simply pull out of the single market. If we were still in the EU at that hypothetical time, the EU could potentially send soldiers to quell discontent.

SO then like I just said, if you want access to the single market then you are subject to their rules and regulations.

You just said if you don't like it then you would have to pull out.

EU would have to send soldiers. ROFL. *

So, the future won't at all be influenced by the choice between boris johnson and theresa may? So the choice in Weimar Germany between Hilter and Thaellman made absolutely no difference?

Who are those none entities?

The EU army already exists, it isn't silly to hypothesise it could grow into a serious threat.

We aren't subject to all of them though, as you yourself have admitted.
No because I thought for myself, rather than listen to the goon BoJo and the uneducated Nigel Farage

If Britain pulls out of the Single Market, thousands would lose their jobs. Just look at the fuss made trying to save the few thousand jobs in Port Talbot, pulling out of the Single Market would be a hundred times worse. No government wanting to stay in power would do that and any Party that tries it will be out of power for decades.

No, and like I also "admitted", we are subject to most of them without a vote.*

Yeh, well, in the minds of paranoid Nationalists then I guess that it is a sensible thought

Depends on who is in power, crazier things have happened. Also, we have no idea what the situation would be like wherein we would pull out, so you can't say that for certain. At the moment, sure It would, but we could be in an entirely different situation.

You don't think that centralisation won't grow? It did in the formation of germany, which indeed started as an idea of german nationalism and a trade confederationt(!).
