A-level math and further edexcel exam board confusing me.

I'm planing on starting my a-levels in a few days but aren't sure which syllabus is right it says 2017 or 2008 syllabus. I'm just wondering if the 2017 is when the 2008 exams stop being sat or if it is when it starts being taught?

Ohh ok so ask yourself then hahaha - I am like 99% sure that you're doing the 2008 spec though cause I remember seeing a PowerPoint at school with the list of subjects and then the corresponding time scale and maths and further maths was starting in September 2017. The new spec is on there so that teachers can prepare and stuff so don't worry.
