What does this mean @job application

Is this basically a 'zero-hour' contract? @JohnLewis

I'm not sure since it just says 'per hour' on the 'salary frequency' and doesn't specify
how many hours for how long etc. :sigh: I know it says 14 hours ish.

I'm only interested in a part-time job even though it says permanent I'd only be working there
ideally for 6 weeks tops as I'm starting university. I'm not sure if they'd give me a reference
afterwards but Idc tbh just need the cash.

Any help?

"A zero hours contract is generally understood to be a contract between an employer and a worker where:

the employer is not obliged to provide any minimum working hours, and.
the worker is not obliged to accept any work offered."

Google is hard.
It clearly states the hours of work...so no its not zero hours.

Zero hours is a type of contract, it doesn't literally mean zero hours lol

No I know that, but this has set hours...It's not like it's on a rota... the hours are set out before you apply so you'll be guaranteed those hours

No it's not zero hours, it's for the specific hours/times it mentions. The salary frequency is so complete idiots don't think that is per week or per month. They presumably use the same format for advertising salaried positions where it will say £20,000 and then underneath for salary frequency it will say 'per year'.
