MAT Practice

Hi all,
I'm intending to apply for Oxford and ICL, so will need to sit the MAT. I just wondered if anyone has any tips for preparing for it? My biggest struggle is generally that my working doesn't look as 'mathematical' as the mark scheme (e.g. using trial and error), and I'm just unsure as to how to overcome this?

Thank you!

Like every other tests, go through all the past MAT papers and maths sections of PAT papers. Just practice, practice and practice. If you have trouble in any question/s ask your teachers. I believe there are model solutions. So, compare your solutions with theirs.

If you run out of past papers, try these: http://vle.woodhouse.ac.uk/topicdocs/maths/smchome.htm
Good luck practising!!!!
