'First' refers to a degree classification (grading system at degree level).

First: 70 - 100 percent.
2:1 : 60 - 69 percent.
2:2 : 50 - 59 percent.
Third: 40 - 49 percent.

Somewhere between 70 and 100 percent. That's the range for a First.
