My family do not understand just how much I love them.

Cats are a HUGE part of my life...

I've wanted to have two since I was 16.

I was always known at my first college has a crazy cat person.

I call cats my children and regard myself as their daddy.

I did two years of animal care just so I could be able to look after cats.

Cats are so important to me that I don't talk to someone if they don't like cats (unless I have to).

I sadly have some family members that hate cats...

I was told that they would snap a cat's neck, stamp on them and even put them in a blender...

To be honest, I agree with you on the whole "joking" when it comes to hurting animals in general.. I don't find it particularly humourous, but it is what it is, a joke. People sometimes consider cats to be vermin, as they're allowed to roam freely, and if you don't like them, and they're constantly using your garden as a toilet, I can see why! I also love cats, I've got 4, but you need to just let people's jokes and opinions fly over you.. Chances are they're saying it to wind you up.
