Are you dense?

All I've done was post the article, and what was written on it so how am I clueless?

No wonder he escaped prison

No handcuffs small enough for the boy

He's as good at evading defenders as he is evading the law.
Just to be clear, Messi dodged a total of 4.1m Euros for the tax years 2007/8/9. He has already handed this money over, plus interest - a total of around 5m. Messi has now been fined an additional 1.6m and his dad has been fined 2.1m.

The biggest surprise about the sentence is that there's no actual jail time for his dad. That suggests some deal has been done somewhere. The missing tax from 2010/11/12 was paid a couple of years ago and a later off-shore tax haven structure has also been dismantled - it may be that Messi's dad has spilled the beans on some more intermediaries.

yeah but can you score important pens?

no.

No surprise he got off pretty much tbf. Literally any crime would be thrown out in court when the defense used video evidence, can thou really accuse a God?
