Maths software?

Anyone know any maths software like Autograph (preferably free) that can do matrix transformations, 3D space and all that cool shiz? I want to experiment with 3D matrices a bit more after the FP4 exam but not sure where to turn for something visual

Matlab is great! It's worth the money if you can get it on a student licence too.

Otherwise Wolfram Alpha. That's free but lacks on user interface.
