What is tsr view on interracial adoption?

It is a bit of a sensitive topic, but I am not really sure on the topic

I am planning to adopt in future for religious reasons but I'm not sure about adopting a race different to my own. I know that love trumps everything but I just think the child might be bullied at school or something for having parents of a different race. I was bullied at school so I know how tough it can be and I wouldn't want that happening to any adopted child of mine. Everyone knows what ***** high school age kids can be like

many but, i don't trust that non black parents can equip a black child well enough for all aspects of this world, especially as they can't relate to their experiences. Furthermore there have been too many cases of black children adopted for perverse reasons by non black parents

ALL children should be brought up in loving homes regardless of their origins/colour or creed or the colour, origins or creed of their prospective parents.
It is only a problem when other people like you make it so, and it's for the benefit of society as a whole that a child is brought up in a family and not an institution because of the prejudices of a few.

There is no issue with it. Why? simply because these social constructs we use to segregate humans, i.e. race, mean little to nothing in the grand scheme of things.

We are all human.

Culture is dependent on where you are from and can be developed by the individual and then integrated into the mainstream culture. For example a Japanese 16 year old boy being adopted by white British parents can still develop their understanding of their homeland culture. However they need to learn about British culture as well, if they wish to fit into British society.

If you are one of those people that believe that people of a specific ethnic group would favour to be with other of that same ethnic group in any and every type of situation, e.g romantic or immediate family, then i can understand your view point. However this is not true. It is about a build up off past experiences, and what one learns from them, as well as socialisation that can lead to these types of perspectives.

It's not about how it will look like when parents' colour is different from child's, it's about providing that child a home and surrounding him/her with lots of love. I'm totally fine with it as long as child feels safe and loved :h:
