Mkhitaryan and Martial flanking, Rooney in behind Ibrahimovic. You have Schweinsteigger and Carrick/Schneiderlin as the two DMs. Having Curry and Ibra up top would be ridiculous though. Aerial threat for days.
I doubt it in terms of transfer fees but in terms of football quality you're probably right Pogba is good for the marketing department because as Rooney fades we need someone to be the face of United and Pogba fits the bill quite well...
Also, in this day and age, you're not just buying a player, you're a buying a brand.
And right now, Pogba is one of the hottest brands in football, he will generate a lot of revenue.
What others fault to understand is that money is relative to the size/spending power of a club. £100m for Manchester United is £20m for most clubs. Plus in an era where Mané goes for £35m, Martial for £36m, Sterling for £50m then £100m for Pogba is fine, maybe slightly overpriced but not an abomination by any stretch of the imagination.

Also there is mad inflation due to the money entering football particularly the Premier League. Once upon a time 25m would get you Beckham, 30m would get you Rio (Compare to 50m Stones), Zidane cost less than Sterling at 46m, 18 year old Ronaldo cost 12m whereas Ibe is going to cost B'mouth 15m, 46m Euros would get you Ronaldo (legend).
I miss 2009-2010 where 30m was the going rate for top players (Berba, Benzema, Villa, Yaya, Silva was in the 20s Prime Ibra went to Barca for 40m+Eto in 2010 as well I think.
we need a signing such as Pogba, so that other teams realise how big and powerful we are as a club and hopefully bring back some of the fear factor- which has been lost in recent years.

Atrocious mentality. 'Lets buy someone to show we can afford to buy that person'.

It might be but it would go along way to helping us become a European powerhouse once again. Having big names in your team such as: De Gea, Ibra, Schweinsteiger and maybe Pogba creates fear and respect from the opposition, which gives you the edge before the game has even started.
