Martial didn't play because he's not a target man. Should've been ahead of Coman though.

Yeah that was ridiculous. He's meant to be an all purpose midfielder but that clearly doesn't play to his strengths.
What ever happened to the traditional CM player. It seems that almost every midfielder now can only ever play CDM or CAM, no inbetween.
Pogba is just Yaya Toure all over again. He's a unit so people want to shoehorn him into a fairly deep central midfield role, but he's a technician (who doesn't have the mentality to use his physicality properly anyway).
4-4-2 died off, 3 man midfields came in, so the generalist made way for the specialist.

As for Pogba - "Bad" (I wouldn't say bad but average instead) Euros does not mean bad he's a bad player, he was played in a DM position which was not ideal but yet he did his job to a okayish standard. 100m is a bit far fetched though...

Deschamps deserves criticism for not giving Martial minutes (like LVG, his standard sub was Gignac for Giroud) but not taking along Gameiro or Lacazette who might have offered something different but Pogba was poor tonight. Sissoko channeling his inner Pogba and was excellent in the first half but think a realistic assessment of Pogba is for when he plays for his club side than at international level.
Nerve-wracking watch for the final, wanted Portugal to win led by Ronaldo but wouldn't have begrudged Evra winning it in what was, more likely, his last game for France.
