Anyone who pursues a political career in the least successful mainstream party is by definition a conviction politician

He led his party into its first government for 100 years

And only 14 year old virgins use the words 'alpha qualities'

Clegg's one enormous failing was to backtrack over tuition fees for no reason, which single handedly annihilated any claim the lib dems had to be more trustworthy than the other parties
