I live with my parents for ease more than anything as house prices in the south-east are so inflated compared to others but £850 for those and in total about £2,500 not including savings increases
around 300-400 per month.

Rent: 120
Food: 80
Transport (taxi/subway/bus): 50
Bills: 30

= 280

Then on top of that, I eat out probably 2-3 times a week, which is around 1-5 pounds per time. so 40-60 per week

Add a few nice days out with my wife, and you get to 300-400 depending on how many times we go out.

A long way away from the UK

Back in the UK my monthly living costs for both me and my wife were around 1100 per month, including renting a nice 2 bed flat for 550 per month, 50-60 food each month, 100-150 total bills including all, quite a lot on trains/travel, and going out once a week for a meal/cinema/day trip.
Rent £280 (bills included) this is in a house share.
Food £100 a month
Clothes £20-ish per month (I only shop in sales)
Travel £300 annually
Food is about £100, water is £8.50, electricity is £20. Everything else varies really. I have some weeks where food may only be £10 and others, it's nearer £25.

Rent and bills about £550 a month. About £200 on food and maybe £15 on clothes, extras and hygiene stuff considering I don't really buy them every month, just every now and then as needed.

What country ?
Household bills for the two of us per month - around £2.2k split below:

£857 mortgage
£450 commuting
£90 gas & electric
£15 water
£100 sky/netflix/plex/BT sport. I know. I've tried but partner is having none of it and won't give any of it up..
Phone £35 for both
£100 gym for both
£100 fuel
£135 council tax
£ 70 broadband and tel line
£22 insurance
£190 credit card pay off
Wine £80

That excludes all annual stuff like Road tax, car insurance, house insurance, car service and MOT, new tyres

And then groceries is around £100 per week
Eat out once or twice a week, maybe £100

Adulting is expensive, and so is marrying someone with expkensive tastes!
