What matters more, the school you attended or the level of qualification?

I would say the school, is more important, even with average grades you will fare out better in life.

Depends, places like IB target certain schools.

For most other normal things, it's pretty much what the degree is in and your classification.
As said by the poster above: in most cases, the level of qualification (degree classification) is the more important factor

Like, I've got an Oxford 2.2. Just coz I went to Oxford, that wouldn't (if I were interested in graduate scheme-type stuff) get me past the automatic filter thing :nah:

In an ideal world you should be judged on your ability so schooling would be irrelevant. Sadly thought life is about who you know and how much cash you have. In some parts of business the colour of your tie speaks louder than your ability.
