Yes, they weren't really. I studied them at AS level, they had tons of programs you would probably call socialist, like basic healthcare.

Thats the lie they sold, they wanted to appeal to workers as the peoples' party, but the reality is they are right wing in just about every sense of the word apart from maybe one or two policies in social/welfare, but they are very right wing.
