How come i dont recognise people?

I often dont remember peoples faces. I went out for a meal with the sports club and was sat opposite a woman with blonde hair. Ive also seen her around quite a bit i must have. Yesterday she was sat with another woman watching and it only came to my mind that she could be the woman from the meal when her daughter (who was sat with her at the meal) approached her. I was then trying to work out if this was the woman sat opposite, i found out it was.
People say hello to my too in my year of my degree who i e spoken to in the past, they recognise me but i dont with them. I find that lots of people, expecially women look similar though. Then again im the with remembering information, i will pass exams but then forget the information wheteas othets seem to recall a lot. It makes me think whats the point in me learning things if i forget. It feels like my brain has only 2mb of memory.
Eat your spinach and lay off the weed

Yeah prosopagnosia may be it, go to a GP and get it checked out. If you are recognising people from their hair colour or what they usually wear, you may have it.

Then it just may be general memory issues, are you sleeping enough? Stressing?

Lmao OP I have the same problem sometimes, I think everyone who is an introvert has. If you're an introvert science has proven that faces are as interesting to your brain as a vase full of flowers whereas to extrovert brains faces stand out more. Don't feel bad about it, people who I've worked with in the past and left have come in and said hi to me and I haven't had a clue who they are lol

Oh, yes i am a definate introvert, Ive never really socialised (lack of friends) and have always preferred doing things by myself. I need to be on my own a lot to refresh, being around people and constant noise (even the tv) drains me. People say im very quiet but i just dont have the 'social energy'.
