what is wrong with our country ? a man who served his community bravely for many years spent 3 years in jail on the word of some snivelling psycho. words fail me.*
because the accusation was brought by a lying psycho fantasist ? *
Sorry, I can't seem to find any evidence for this claim. Could you support this please?
By the way, maybe it was just unfortunate that this allegation arose at the time that it did- Child Sex Allegations/Child exploitations/Saville allegations. I presume that if this case had not been brought up at this time the punishment would have been considerably less severe.

i am not a legal expert... unlike the judges of the court of appeal
"David Bryant, now 66, of Christchurch, Dorset, was released after judges at the Court of Appeal in London described his accuser as a chronic liar." *
You have spiked your own guns by posting the two reports that report on his guilt before the link that shows him rel;eased. Anyone thinking those three reports show the same thing will probably only read the first and will wonder what your point is.
Does that explain the disappointing reception of your thread and lack of support for your stance?

Oh yes, I found the Times article. The allegation was a serious one (of course recent events did have a profound effect). I must agree that it was unprofessional for the judges to dismiss his appeal three times without any evidence from the 'chronic liar'.
