CIE English Language coursework first draft question

Just wondering what could potentially happen if a first draft was not sent off with one of the three assignments would the grade decrease ?

The draft is used to certify that the work is your own. I have no idea what would happen. However, drafts are not marked.

Thanks for the reply I also read in the syllabus that the draft does not contribute to te final internal marks as well as external marks so is it right to assume that there wouldn't be a major concern even if a first draft wouldn't be included ?
