Industry is a vague term, where exactly do you want to work in microbiology?

Pretty much any relevant degree but you may need a masters if not a PhD for career progression.

Any Bio science degree i.e Biomedical Science or Biological Sciences which has Microbiology modules (most will - you need to check the uni website).
Some unis used to / still do offer Microbiology BSc degrees but most have been replaced by Biological Sciences BSc (this happened at Uni of Cen Lan).

You should graduate with at least a 2:1 (upper second class) and then perhaps do some lab placements for a year before doing postgraduate study i.e a Masters Degree in Microbiology. You can do a PhD if you want.
