Do you have maybe something like a visa confirmation letter from Home Office?

Norway is in the EEA and you've been living here for 5+ years, so you don't need a visa.

But you can get a registration certificate if you want to

They might be getting confused because you're not an EU citizen, it'd be best to just call them and clarify.

Surely they should be aware that EEA nationals don't need a visa?

Just tell them you dont need a visa because you are a norwegian , which is part of the EEA.

Send them this link and it confirms your right to work without a visa.

Its only short and confirms your right to work from this official website and wukk give the employer peace of mind in what to do.

That registration cert was interesting, except it was £65!!!

Indeed.

And somewhat ironic considering we'll be joining it in due course...
I doubt many small employers know what the EEA is. Tbh i doubt they care and the person will only be interested in doing the legal checks so they dont get fined. This was just a few days ago.

Before he asked the Visa status question, he wanted me to send him my bank details, does that mean I got the job? He still has not replied to the Visa status though. Before I posted here I actually did send him a message saying "What do you mean?" lol, do you think that might be bad?
