In the Gay quarter I walked home, a bunch of bears whistling at my short covered ass. I felt turned on, intimidated but I wish I had met some of them on Grindr. I'm not up for the gang bang they intimated

:O

Dude this is a student forum

I am not defending those creepy guys that sexually harass women as they're vulgar creatures.
I feel like at some point, men will not be allowed to even look at a woman without being called a creep

Well wolf whistling at someone is creepy, deal with it. There's a massive difference between looking at someone and staring with your tongue hanging out of your mouth too

We were talking about wolf whistling :frown: As a victim, I found it a turn on. I hope I don't my shared experience. I miss bears

Yes but you're meant to filter your language.
You do not have to go into detail, as other gay members of tsr do type such words.

How am I going to filter that :s-smilie: example?

It's like, if a woman is scared of rape. I can't imagine but help the bears as individuals with me

You do not need to talk about your clothing or mention a porn site.

It's relevant. Like if a woman said she is wearing hot pants. Guys are going t olook. Grindr is the Tinder for gays, not a porn

But the mental image is not cool.
Oh I thought grindr was a gay site, oops my bad.

Well if you're standing next to the person doing it its rather unpleasant on the ear drums.
.

... not to mention its for builders.
Honestly, I get its supposed to be a compliment, but just makes me feel uncomfortable

So if a man sees an attractive women he does a distinctive whistle, but I see it as harmless.

A woman is not a dog and does not need to be whistled at.

Its just a bit of playful banter.
It can be harmless and funny

to you. to her its just pointless and she just assumes you're desperate
I think it's one of these things that unless you've been there and done that, you really have no idea.

I've been whistled at by teenage boys who were clearly trying to do it to get my attention, which didn't do anything. I can ignore that. But if it's an older man who won't leave me alone, then yeah, that's creepy and not acceptable.
It's degrading. :colonhash:

Who are you to tell people how to word their posts? Are you a mod? No, you are not. Furthermore, we are all big boys and girls here, young and old, and there is nothing here that I haven't heard before as 2 of my children are gay. The only content on this thread that I have found offensive is the notion you have of women who enjoy your unwanted attention and you defending your behaviour.
Oh, and I doubt whether this thread will be removed. Whereas threads you have started about the poor and other vulnerable members of society have been removed because of your inappropriate content started by you. The majority of threads you have started on TSR smack of hypocrisy and prejudice.

No I am not a mod, but I still have the right to guide and advise certain members of tsr about their use of wording and phrases.
I am just simply providing a normal discussion.

So you think is it criminal for a man to wolf whistle a woman?

It's unsolicited sexual behaviour in a public place, so even if it isn't criminal, it probably should be.
