It is moreover rubbish to suggest decisions made by centre-right parties are 'tough and unpopular' - I doubt people would say no to cutting tax, increasing business investment through deregulation and low corporate tax (hence creating more jobs and lower welfare budget), increasing the role of the private sector, decreasing bureaucracy in the public sector and stopping the wastage of taxpayers' money.

Interesting. The descriptions I posted were always going to be controversial, but I tried to be as representative as possible. I also identify on the right but I'm also irreligious.
Centre left mostly although i favour some of the other policies.

I accept the role of the market and view some industries being better in the private sector however many other industries like health, transport, education etc should not have a profit motive and are better run by the public sector.
I want a state with high quality public services, a fantastic education and health system free at the point of use while supporting the free market in other areas.. That's the way to achieve equality of opportunity.
