Cambridge/ Oxford Master offer query

Hi

I am interested in applying to Cambridge/Oxford for a masters degree in Geography (2017 entry). Are the offers given in terms of attaining a particular degree class e.g. 1st/2.1 or is it in terms of specific percentages e.g. 65?

All I know is that they ask for a predicted final class on the online application and would like your references to confirm that prediction. It depends on how popular the geography programme is but from what I've seen generally you'll probably need a 1st. I applied to the more popular Oxford BCL degree with a predicted 1st and didn't get an offer.
