Well actually muscles are heavier than fat.

But why do you care about a number so much? I would have thought people caring about weight, is about looks, and the number is just a way of keeping track.

Obviously not.

Muscle weighs more than fat. Well known fact.

A man's skeleton also tends to be bigger and heavier.

well I have Men's Health Sept 16 issue here and it says 65kg in it. Plus I googled his weight class he's featherweight not lightweight sorry, meaning <66kg. So he must have lost weight

I don't care that much. I'm just wondering how differently men and women are built because it's interesting to me, not that I want to look exactly like Conor McGregor 😂

That'll be about his actual weight.

They cut **** loads of weight for fights by dieting like freaks and then sweat out about 5kg of water before they weigh in the day before and then put it all back on again overnight. It's to get into a lower weight class so they have a size advantage.

Dude, the UFC is saying he is 77kg! Do you think they're lying? and if he did lose weight. They would have recorded it.

Much more reliable source than a Men Health Magazine.
Smh, As if a man with that much muscle would be less than 69/70 kg

Yes I see that. But it also says Featherweight champion and the upper weight limit in UFC for featherweights is 66kg. So as someone said earlier he must lose weight for the weigh ins before the fight and be 77kg on a day to day basis
They diet and do cardio to lose weight right before the weigh in so that they 'make weight' ie fall within the weight threshold for their category.
He fights at 145lb and has competed at 170lb. His last fight was at 170lb which is why it says 77kg but his title is at featherweight which is 145lb/66kg. That picture must be from a featherweight fight as he got knocked out in his one and only fight at 170lb.

He doesn't look as hench anymore so is he competing in a lower weight class again? In UFC 202
65kg is the weightclass he fights in, not the weight he usually walks around at in day-to-day life.

And to answer your question, no, obviously men weigh more than women on average.

No he's fighting at 170 again I think.

This talks about weight cutting in more detail, it's unhealty af but they all do it to try and get an extra advantage.
