Get annoyed when no-one likes or replies to my Facebook posts

ok i know this sounds stupid but when no-one likes my status updates it really annoys me. im not the most popular guy in school but i do get on with everyone and i have about 350 friends on facebook. when i post it tends to be something funny or witty as im usually shy around people and this is a good way for me to show people who i really am. But when i post something funny and it gets no likes i get annoyed and feel like no-one likes me but then i see someone upload a picture of a banana and it gets 20+ likes i just dont get it. what should i do so that i stop feeling this way?
Feel secure in yourself?

The fact that you need to be behind a screen to show who you really are, speaks volumes.

If you're not really relatable in person, then no one really cares about what you post on facebook. When people like stuff on facebook, they are usually interested in, or like the person, not necessarily the post.

You should get annoyed if no one likes YOU. It's not really about the posts as much as it is about the person who posts them

I am a relatable person I get on with nearly everyone the problem is im just shy around people
I use to get lots of likes on Facebook but does getting likes really mean anything to me? No

So if that's the problem, then put yourself out there?

Getting on well with people is different to them being your friend. Just because you have some mutual talk at school, and share some jokes, doesn't really mean anything.
Probability of getting like is directly proportional to the (friend)*3/2
Maybe you're not that funny, and that's why people don't like your posts.
Maybe because you're quiet, people don't actually like you, rather they just don't mind you being there.
Maybe all 350 of your friends are out socialising in real life getting laid and aren't worried about massaging your cyber ego and liking every trivial little thing you post on Facebook?
Or maybe, Facebook is just a broken system and short of developing 32DD breasts, you'll never be farming likes on Facebook?

I know people who get hundreds of likes for their selfies, but 0 likes when they share a funny video or something. Facebook is dead anyway

If you really want likes then tag people, comment on other peoples stuff. Get involved.
Being shy means you get ignored. Posting on facebook is only making your shyness worse as it gives you something to hide behind. Come offline more often and work on your social skills, talking to people in real life.
You should add me on Facebook; I'll like all your posts

You shouldn't be on social media if those kinds of things piss you off
