A* at A-Level

Hi all,

I have just received my AS scores and I have gotten (A) 88 and 89. Can those be predicted A*'s for next year? (This is for CIE)

If you are applying in the uk, your teachers can predict anything they like for your final A level grades. Whether they think your results warrant an A* prediction is entirely up to them, their experience and their knowledge of your potential. There isn't a set formula, though many require 90%+ at AS to predict A* as it's quite tough to achieve A* with CIE if you haven't. If you are applying elsewhere there may be rules I'm unaware of.
