Student life, alternative option would have been to live at home in germany, or study at one of the boring universities here

Economics in Norwicb at the UEA;
German univerisites can be really amazing for older students, or those who have families, but I believe that they are lacking the entire social aspect which was more important for me, since I just turned 18 after finishing highschool in germany.

taking out from student finance the 9k a year, about living costs we have something which is like a maintenance loan which you only pay back partly, it covers all, accomodation, living cost expenses and stuff

Yeah UEA is pretty decent in terms of socialising and nights out what with the LCR right there, even if you do lose your shoes to the excessively sticky floor :biggrin:

after almost a year people realize that the trick is to avoid certain areas within the LCR which are targeted the most :wink: :P

Sure, because student life in bloody Norwich is soooo much more vibrant than in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, or Munich!
