So scared. I have wet myself several times, suffer from insomnia and fall on the ground crying for no reason.
I always gotta go toilet and my head hurts every time I fart.
I can't wait any longer for results
Whenever I do Question 6 in the AQA English Language Paper, I always have some sort of funny rant on paper and it usually turns out great, my other questions go down hill.

Question 2's pun about Bear Grylls made me cringe so much I cried inside😂😭😂

3 consecutive nightmares last night about results day :s-smilie::s-smilie:

I need my English Lang to have been marked by someone really sympathetic and with a good sense of humour because I was so delirious that day. I had stayed up the night before crying about Add Maths and my writing piece was basically me on a rant about how I hate OCR (which is the same exam board as my English) and because I was so tired, virtually none of it made sense and there was no clear structure and ughghghghhghghghgh :angry:

i can't even remember the question but so many people who took admaths the day before wrote about it because it was so hard :frown:
the exams i did with ocr were some of the worst i've ever done... what are you hoping for in admaths?

The question was something like "Write about a time in your life when you found something difficult but didn't expect it to be".
I didn't really write about Addmaths, it was a mix of a trillion different things and I think my main thing was about that English exam itself, only because of Addmaths.
I was hoping for an A, but I've kind of resigned myself to the fact that I'm not going to get an A so....
Did you take Addmaths?
Apart from AddMaths and English, the only other OCR exam I did was RS and I found that absolutely fine (thankfully).
I keep having nightmares about my last history exam...they're always similar. Two nights ago, I dreamt that I'd only done an evening's worth of intensive revision before my last exam (which is not true, I had three whole days to rewrite my notes and do past papers)
And it's just really getting to me.
I'm so worried that I haven't got into the sixth form that all of my friends are going to (because if I get a b in one of my a level subjects, I'm not allowed in, as it's a grammar school)
Realistically, I know that I prepared for all my exams the best that I could, but what if it wasn't enough? History's my worst subject because although I love the content, the exams **** me sideways. And if I've got a B in either biology or chemistry, I may as well just off myself because that's my entire life plan scuppered, as I want to do Biology at university (and then maybe a postgrad in medicine at some point)
Worst of all, if I don't get into that school, I'll have to go to my local college, with my piece of **** ex best friend and the awful girl I used to fancy (I mean awful. She cheats on her boyfriend all the time and has forbidden anybody from telling him and I'm super scared about seeing her again because I think I still like her).
I know nobody will reply to this thread (and I'm not looking for attention or anything, I swear), but writing down my feelings is making me feel better in some way. So. Yeah.
I know on results day that my body is going to wake me up at a ridiculous time like 6 or 7 when I won't be able to get them until half 9. My body wants me up early to let my anxiety really kick in.

@pascalscasino don't worry, if you've done revision before the exam, you should be fine, I do hope you'll do alright and get to your sixth form :P

Check to see if other schools and colleges will accept you on results day.
Will you be on the same course/same classes as the Ex and the Awful girl?
Why are you scared to see her if you still like her?
Remember, we're all our own worst critics - we think we've done so much worse than we usually have.
Have faith in yourself.
Remember to breathe.
And I'm pretty sure ranting to the world is the way that most of us feel better.
Good luck!

yeah i did, i went in thinking it'd be an easy A and left thinking i might not even pass lmao. i'll probably get a B, maybe scrape an A if the boundaries are super low but i'm just going to prepare for the worst.
i did triple science, computing, english and admaths with ocr and three out of the four subjects i'm doing next year are also with them :o:o:redface:
I did additional maths too. A bloody difficult paper. But I pray I got an A

Did you check the unofficial markscheme?

Same.... I feel like I'm going to miss out on the A by a couple of marks and there isn't really much point getting it remarked because it's not like it's an actual GCSE or anything and unless I fail maths (as in don't get an A* so I can't move 6th forms) I don't really need an A.

My nightmares consist of me getting a B in addmaths and tbh, in real life, I've stopped caring about what I get.

Do you get your grade this week? Or with the rest of your results next week?

checked it so many times, counting for the worst and best case scenarios
if i get a B i'll just take it as a sign i need to do more maths but i'll feel a bit dumb as i'm doing further maths next year
i'll be going in to school to see if they'll give them to me, if not they're posted first class (which is probably worse as my dad might get to it before i can)

I think I get my addmaths online this week - I don't really know if I should wait to see it next week along with the rest of my results - If I decide to check it this week, I'll get a friend to do it for me.
Don't take it as a sign you need to do more maths - It was a hard exam this year and even though the grading is meant to be proportionate to how well everyone else did, there will be people who will end up with different grades to what it would be had we had a "regular" exam.
Only half of the people in my addmaths class are doing FM next year and if I stay at my current school, I'll be the only girl - so joy :colonhash:

Good Luck!!!

What part?

The difference between it and normal GCSE. I've not heard of it since now. Is it frowned upon?
